As a concerned wife, I am wondering why we are evacuating SC residents and people's loved ones; however, my loved one is having to stay during the storm. I understand it is his job and duty to help with evacuation and making sure all citizens are safe. However, I want the same protection for him. If citizens are being asked to evacuate, the guardsmen should be allowed to evacuate as well. They can come back to help with relief efforts when it is safe to do so.
