ok here my story hard for me to write... I was told in Nov of 2008 I had myeloma and lung cancer at the same time was told it was  good new they found it early,, well I passed out  you see my dad die of this and other I know that were in the AF.  my dad was told in Nov 1979 and passed away a very painful death in april 1981 at the age of 51. Thing is I was told at the age 51 I had the cancer 
if you want to know more you can call me... well I am the founder of our support group we started in march of 2009 in my dad name SMSGT Donald F Trent.  Susan Mandel took over for me in 2012 cause I was going in for my 2nd stem cell transplant,,,, we now have about 15 in are small group  but I know in a 50 miles around Columbia there are over 350 mosty vets of older people. so far here in the US the younges in 17 years old,we meet the second sat of every other month the next meeting is April 12 2014   most people had no ideal what this cancer is hard to think cause it in the top 10 cancer   but no one want to help us to get the word out other cancer yes this no..Cause of are big boys up in Wash DC and The Vet Office,,, it took my mom and me 10 year to get the Vet mitary to say yes it causes myeloma and other cancer,( I have all the paper on this but not at my house I distrust the VA  been down that road long ago.), Brats of Mitaray  sorry you are out of luck,  and the drugs are not cheap   21 days is 10,000,00  hope you have good ins I do,is there anyway we can get are Gov Haley to make march 28th 2014 Myeloma day,and keep that DAY FORVER I would like to have the group be there and I like to set up a meeting with her, too,   I contacted susan to send out a email for this web page to send in how they feel.  Did you know that what SC&ampG used to clear the bushes from trees and rail road track  yup  agent orange just under and new name that cause caner,,,not all myeloma PT were in the mitary  just don't know,, THIS WAS VERY HARD FOR ME TO WRITE
