Hello,
 My name is Maurice Barnett and I am requesting the governors help due I feel I was treated unfairly. Around this time last year I enquired into the SCDLEO program for SCDNR. I contacted Capt.Sandy Young 843-661-4766 Young's@DNR.sc.gov and never got a response after several attempts. I then contacted board member Mr. Gleen McFadden 803-487-7600 McFadden@DNR.sc.gov and he called me back within hours told me he would look into it. Well the next day Capt. Sandy Ground contacted me and ask for my contact address and sent me a Dleo package. After about two weeks of running down documents I sent all papers back in. I was contacted few weeks later by the investigating officer about some things and he concluded his background on me.  After weeks of waiting I contacted Capt. Sandy Young and after a few request he finally responded told me to be patient but not to purchase any equipment. Few more weeks went by I emailed him no response. Finally Major Poole called and said the captain didn't need any DLEOS at this time. I feel strongly there was never good intention from the start and by state proto call I was suppose to have received a letter not phone call. This program is all volunteer and equipment is volunteer responsibility as well. I feel I'm do at
