and Friends will celebrate the 90th birthday of Luefenia Glisson on
November 14,2015 in Sumter,South Carolina at The Imperial, 451 Broad St.,
Sumter, SC.
Luefenia Glisson completed High School in Sumter
County,and both she and her late husband of 54 years,retired from Sumter
County Schools the same year.
Luefenia, along with her late
husband,raised seven children. These seven children have extended her
family to include 22 grandchildren.
Luefenia Glisson is a native of
Sumter,South Carolina and has lived there her entire life. She is a
faithful member of Beulah UME Church. She attends the local senior
citizens' center. She bakes a "patent-ready biscuit" like no one else can,
and she is "ever-ready" to travel, to entertain, and be entertained. She
is a God fearing positive spirit who is much loved,and has been Given much
Grace, Mercy and Favor.
