In effect your SofU speech told me to sit down and shut up. Your election was exactly the opposite message. Your election said that speaking out, fighting for what I want, that anyone can do anything if they work for it. Your message said that I don't have a right to be angry, that I should accept abandonment by the men and women who we, in our innocense or stupidity, put in power. I don't know if Trump or even Cruz, are the right people to get us out of this mess, but I do know that the people who instigated your speech are not. My country, the country that I learned to love through the end of the depression and WWll, is being done a huge disservice by the people in Washington and the people who put them there. There is something so smarmy about Hillary Clinton even running and it being accepted by both sides, by the seamy deals made in government, by the wholesale invasion of people who do not give a damn about the U.S., by the love of our country being besmirched for decades, by the destruction of the work ethic, by the ridiculous curiclum in U.S.Universities.
Do the people who are destroying our lives and the lives of our children not see what is happening? We The People have a right to our country. Why is it being given away for nothing to people who have no idea of, or desire to live the meaning of America? I am old and I am worn out from crying over the destruction of my country.
