I would like to take the time to say something nice. We moved to South Carolina about 18 months ago. My experience with the DMV has been unlike my experience with the equivalent agency in any of the ther 3 states in which I have lived. The DMV offices are clean. The staff is helpful, friendly, courteous and efficient. There are probably a large number of people who deserve credit for that. From what I have seen, this approach to dealing with the public extends through the the state government, and exists at the county level as well. In my experience, those in charge set the standards for the organization they oversee. Ultimately, the Governor plays a significant role in that. So, thank you and carry on.
