Dear Governor Haley,

My name is Brandon! You can call me Bubbie because my classmates and friends call me that. I am a 10th grader and I go to Farrington High School here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Well, I am writing this to you because I think that you shall reopen the trial of George Julius Stinney. You should reopen his trial because there was obviously no evidence of him killing these two girls, breaking their bikes, and dumping them into the river. He also was only a 95-pound little boy, so he could not have done all of this. Then there's his brother who wasn't even with George at that time, the sister was with him, but they still accused George's brother. My classmates and I read an article that tells the story about George Julius Stinney and what happened to him including his family. Although George has already been executed and it's been over 50 years ago, you don't even know if he's innocent or not! You should really reopen this case because this may happen again, what if I were to be accused of murder and executed? For Christ sake, I'm 15 and living in Hawaii! But please, put your attention to this case of George Julius Stinney, it will really mean a lot to us kids and his very own family. Thank you Governor Haley for considering our request, we really appreciate it!
