Tesla has been banned in some other states basically because the car dealership lobby paid off those politicians. Tesla makes electric cars, their cars are expensive, so really only the rich can afford them now, but the goal of Tesla is to be able to make an affordable electric car in several years. If Tesla can do this it could bring down the cost of gas for everyone else, but most importantly it would lessen our dependence on all these problematic countries we depend on for oil. There's no way of knowing how successful Tesla might be at this or to what extent it could decrease our oil imports. But it is frustrating to see politicians and lobbying groups get in the way of a company that has such a promising product and that could potentially be so beneficial to the country. Thank you for your reply. Bob Jeffreys
