I have just finished watching today's Committee hearings of the investigation into DSS. I worked at Lexington County DSS as an Investigator of High Risk Child and Abuse for 6 and a half years. It was my second career and my most favorite. I loved my job and did it with a drive and passion for the safety and protection of the children of the state of SC. I left last Spring for the exact reasons the committee heard today. I appreciate that you are concerned about your re-election and that this issue is delicate for your office however the vulnerable and at risk children are part of our state's future. It is our responsibility to help them. Please listen to all that is being said. I am more than willing to meet with you and share my experiences. Someone needs to have the courage to stand for the children and not Lillian Koller. My contact information is above. I truly hope to hear from you about this pressing, most important matter. Thank you, Shepherd Claire Cary, LMSW
