SERVSAFE FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER CERTIFICATION COURSE
COLUMBIA---ServSafe Manager Certification Training, a course designed to teach managers of food service operations the best methods and practices to protect food, will be held in Columbia from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on April 9 and 10th, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12 Noon on April 11, 2002.
Topics include Challenges to Food Safety; Developing a HACCP Food Safety System; The Flow of Food; and Maintaining Sanitary Facilities and Equipment. The course also includes the National Certification Exam and Train-the-Trainer Workshop and training materials. Materials used are provided by the Educational Foundation of National Restaurant Association (NRA). Clemson University faculty certified as instructor trainers by the NRA will teach the course.
