If you are unfamiliar with this abbey you should look it up. It is one of the most incredible sites in the world. During the tour of this tiny city surrounded by water and jutting out of the ocean we were shown a single Palmetto tree that was in ill health. Their was a great sadness in the potential loss of the tree. Could you contact the mayor (there are only a dozen citizens that actually live on the island) and donate a tree to replace theirs?
