We the people of northern Pickens County have been lied to, deceived, and discriminated against by our school board and administration. They have closed our schools, despite being offered more feasible options. This decision will leave a void in our mountain communities and hinder our children's educational success. The upheaval and instability caused by this decision will outweigh any possible positive that it could ever have had. Please help us to get this decision overturned and keep our schools open and our communities alive. Our school board has demonstrated that they do not believe in government of the people, for the people, and by the people. We are determined to prove that it still exists.
