Your proposal of an increase of 10 cents tax on gas would hurt us. We have an RV and do traveling around the state staying in state parks. Decrease on income tax would not effect us since we do not make enough on Social Security to pay federal or state income tax. But an increase on gas tax would hurt us. This tax proposal would also hurt the lower income people who have to buy gas to travel to work. They would be paying more for the gas. But again probably the income tax decrease would not effect them either. Wouldn't it better to increase the sales tax instead of adding a tax to gas? Thanks for listening to me and hope to hear from you.
