Dear Governor- While not Republican nor conservative, I want to thank you for your speech Tuesday evening. Your message was sorely needed by our nation, as was the President's. I also want to let you know that I've admired your leadership during the recent flag controversy but even more during your State's terrible floods. Very impressive. Your leadership provides hope to me for our nation's future. I am 65 years old but have a grandson. I want him to have what I have had. Please continue to lead with compassion and integrity. But there's one or two more messages I want to share. Having spent much of my career in and around healthcare, our nation's system was not broken by Obamacare. It has been broken for decades with consumers bearing a constantly increasing cost of its inefficiencies. The ACA is not perfect but there is much in it that is good. (no pre-condition restrictions, quality) Build on it. Don't kill it. And gay marriage is no threat. Don't give in to religious bigotry. There's too much of that elsewhere in the world. Do that and you'll have my vote if and when you seek higher office. Be well and thanks again. Jim Nowicki
