NORTH MYRTLE BEACH---The following farmers were recently recognized at the SC Ag Expo in North Myrtle Beach for their impressive yields in 2000 despite imperfect weather.
 

Ricky Kneece	Kneece Farmers, Pelion, SC	5,549 lb.s peanuts per acre  (state yield record-nearly 800 lbs. less)
Emmett Rouse	Hampton County	282.2 bushels corn per acre (state yield record-nearly 40 bushels less)
Brad Elliott	Horry County	194 bushels dryland corn per acre
Leonard Cogdill	Clarendon County	119.5 bushels wheat per acre
Thurmond, M.D. and Larry Floyd	Florence County	58.4 bushels non-irrigated soybeans per acre
William, Ray, Donnie, and Tommy Jamison	Orangeburg County	58.3 bushels irrigated soybeans per acre
