It is time to cut losses, sell the property and assets and move on. Additionally, in the subcommittee's proposal, they are planning on giving 2-4 years free tuition to any student with at least a 2.5 GPA. That is totally unfair to the rest of the students in our great state. On top of that, the 2.5 GPA is less than what is required for our states Life Scholarship. Are the requirement for qualifying for acceptance at South Carolina, Clemson and South Carolina State the same? Clemson accepts far fewer in-state applications than South Carolina does. Are most of the students going to be forced into South Carolina because of lower tuition cost? If so, will there be room for incoming freshmen or transfer students within the University's system?
