Why hasn't an allowance been made in our budget for relief to all the businesses who have had to incur large expense? An argument that long term return on investment is possible but it does not help a company in short term. It will put most small and medium businesses out of business. It is not rational to support so many businesses from other countries with incentives but not support our own. If you are going to make it mandatory for one type of business to be forced to invest and comply with a trucking ELD, then why is not mandatory to have electric time clocks for all businesses. The enforcement action on this decision shows bias and is detrimental to one form of business and unconstitutional. Allowance of a rebate for the cost is only just and fair and relief should be allowed in the budget.
