2001-43 Appoints Willmott (Bill) Abbuhl as a member of the McCormick County School District Board of Trustees.

2001-42 Order that the flags of the United States and the State of South Carolina be flown at half-staff upon all state buildings and grounds until sunset Friday, November 30, 2001 in honor of Johnny Micheal Spann.

2001-41 Order adding two members to the State Emergency Response Commission.

2001-40 Declares that Executive Order 2001-38 is cancelled, rescinded and declared null and void.

2001-39 Order establishing the South Carolina African American Heritage Commission.

2001-38 Declares Horry County to be in a state of emergency due to wildfires.

2001-37 Declares Monday, December 24, 2001, as a legal holiday for State government employees in South Carolina.

2001-36 Executive Order 2001-34 is increased to include the Executive Director of the Department of Natural Resources and the Director of the Department of Parole, Probation, and Pardon Services.

2001-35 Supports the use of alternative fuels in South Carolina.

2001-34 Homeland Security Order.

2001-33 Establishes the Governor's Workforce Education Interim Planning Committee (Workforce Education Task Force).

2001-32 Appoints Janice Renee Alexander as Treasurer of Colleton County.

2001-31 Order establishing the South Carolina Military Base Task Force.

2001-30 Orders an election for the St. Andrews Public Service District be held in Charleston County.

2001-29 Creates Advisory Campaign Reform Study Commission.

2001-28 Orders special election to fill two vacant Lynchburg Town Council seats.

2001-27 Declares that Executive Order 2001-24 is cancelled, rescinded, and declared null and void.

2001-26 Orders that no person may overcharge for food, fuel, shelter, items used for the protection of life or property, clothing and other living essentials in the State of South Carolina.

2001-25 Orders that the flags of the United States and the State of South Carolina be flown at half-staff upon all state buildings and grounds.

2001-24 Directs that the South Carolina Emergency Operations Plan be placed into effect and that the State Emergency Operations Center be activated and all prudent preparations be taken at the individual, local and state levels to protect against acts of terrorism or threats within the State.

2001-23 Designates the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as the lead agency for child care.

2001-22 Orders the National Guard to be present during the period Congressman Floyd Spence lies in state.

2001-21 Extends Executive Order 2001-19 so that the flags above all state government buildings shall remain at half-staff through Tuesday, August 21, 2001.

2001-20 Amends Executive Order 2001-16 to set the date for Seat 1 of Bamberg County School District 2 election on October 9, 2001, or at such earliest possible date after October 9, 2001.

2001-19 I hereby order that the flags above all state government buildings be lowered to half-staff on August 16 and 17, 2001, in honor of Congressman Floyd D. Spence.

2001-13 Commission appointed to investigate the request to annex 18 acres of land in Charleston County with 600 acres of land in Dorchester County.

2001-12 Suspends Ricky Holland, Sr. from the Town Council of Calhoun Falls.

2001-11 Establishes a moratorium on the construction or expansion of swine facilities and lagoons, and on the permitting of a waste management plan for swine facilities and lagoons.

2001-10 Extends the time for the Advisory Campaign Reform Study Commission final report from April 16, 2001 to April 25, 2001.

2001-09 Establishes the Governor’s Task Force on Affordable Housing

2001-08 Extends the time for the South Carolina Home and Community-Based Services Task Force final report from June 28, 2001 to September 3, 2001.

2001-07 Reestablishes the South Carolina Developmental Disabilities Council
