One thing that really upsets me is the fact we have to pay tax and ad valor-um fees on our vehicles every year and have the absolute worst roads in the 5 states I've lived in. i'm facing over $1100 a year in fees and its beyond ridiculous. I grew up in TN and when we purchased a vehicle, we paid 8% tax when we bought it (one time) and the tag fee each year was $35 and had (still do) the best roads of anywhere I've lived with all these stupid car taxes yearly. I shouldn't have to pay tax on my car every year when its already purchased. that makes no sense to me when we see absolutely nothing being done with the funds you guys are getting. I know it probably wont do any good but maybe you can look at helping us residents who face the astronomical fees every year that have to take out loans to pay them which is what I had to do this year. its just not right plain and simple!! over $2000 in two years for 4 tags is in my opinion BEYOND excessive to ask anyone to pay when most people like me have a mortgage, utility bills, etc and cost of living just keeps going up and salaries don't match that increase or come anywhere close when you're living paycheck to paycheck. 68.115.232.150
