Kenwood Avenue Indianapolis IN 46208 sharpe90254@yahoo.com 415-312-3649 COMM American Airlines still wants to fly vacationers into your emergency evacuation zone tomorrow 206.16.244.12 I just wanted to inform the governor's office that American Airlines is refusing to provide refunds/credits for vacationers who are trying not to come to Charleston tomorrow. My friends on Delta and JetBlue received refunds, but I am still scheduled to fly into Charleston airport at 10 am tomorrow. When I explained there is a mandatory evacuation, that our hotel has been evacuated and closed, that we have nowhere to go, they said, oh well, maybe it will be cancelled. So, if my flight can get in tomorrow before the hurricane hits, I am supposed to stay at the airport for my vacation, or if that then closes, the salvation army? I find it outrageous, that American Airlines would even consider sending people into a hurricane area, causing those people to be in danger and boggling down services that should be for residents, simply because they want to keep my $600. I just wanted to let the governor know as maybe she has the ability to ensure that this is not possible in future disasters. Thank you, Jacqueline Guy.
