I wrote your office recently about an issue that I have with S.C. Department of Social Services, Child Support division. You have received the e-mail, and forwarded it to Pam Cummings, and she replied with a phone call. I have spoken to her in the past, with NO results, and the same with this last conversation on Friday, 7/22/2016. I do not want to talk with her anymore, and want this to go further than Pam Cummings, until I get someone that is genuinely interested in helping me and my son, Gage Welch. Unfortunately for my son, his mother is a career criminal, and has been in and out of jail/prison all her life, and has fled the country to Romania to elude her most recent outstanding warrant. She will be facing a 5 year prison sentence if and when she gets caught. With that, my son Gage did not know that she ABANDONED him, until a week after she had left the country, leaving me to ask" where is my son, and where is his $650+ in support money going, to him, or to support her while she is eluding her sentence? My son is currently in physical custody (not legal custody) of his grandparents. I have reported this to DSS, but they had no concern or regard of this, and if my son is being properly cared for. I cannot afford an attorney, and this is one of reasons why I'm coming to you, my state representative, to help me. Again, I perfer to speak in person, with whomever I can, to express my genuine concern with this, as well as gaining custody of my child, that is 14 years old, and wants to live with me. I want a representative to contact me @ (302) 465-8277, and hope that I can schedule an appointment speak with someone in person. I DO NOT want to speak with Pam Cummings again Please. I want to speak with someone that genuinely cares, and wants to help. Thank you again for your time. I look forward to hearing from your office. Sincerely, A concerned Father Matt Welch 64.203.250.1
