Dear Governor,

I have voted for you and in general support you. Now I plead with you to take a stand against assault weapons and high capacity magazines. The only reason to own them is to kill. They are not hunting weapons. The Second Amendment is being abused and the American people are paying a high price. 

The killings of school children in CT should have done it, perhaps Orlando's killings will - but these weapons must be outlawed once and for all. 

Stand up to the NRA, they do not speak for America nor common sense. It won't end killing, but it will be a positive step in that direction. To do nothing is... to do nothing and you are not know for that.
