The reverend Al Sharpton also made a stop in the Lowcountry, encouraging voters to support his platform and cast their vote in his favor.
Sharpton says he knows that he will not be the next President...but he says he will not drop out of the race and while he would like all the votes he can get most importantly....he says even if voters don't vote for him they still need to vote..

Sharpton says, "we aint where we want to be we aint where we ought to
be we aint where we gonna be but thank god we aint where we was..."
Sharpton not only talked about progress....he also challenged other Democrats to stay faithful to the party..
Sharpton says,"I hope all of us stay in the party win loose or draw...I think that it is important that we not in anyway shape or form flirt with a strategy that will hep elect Bush which is why I chose to run in the Primary.."
Sharpton met with more voters in Georgetown....he echoed his message of the importance to vote, jobs, and health care...
Georgetown resident Clare Jagger says, "he probably will not win but he can make an impact at the convention and I agree with his standards and I think that is important...I want to help him get there."
Peter Hemingway of georgetown says, "I still haven't made up mind at this point but after listening to him today he just might have my vote tomorrow....
As he left Georgetown, Sharpton left his supporters with hope..
He says, "some people you may vote for, if they don't win the next two or three primaries will drop out...I am not dropping out."
