Dear Governer,
I grew up in Ohio in the 50's, and when I was a little girl, we would go to Myrtle Beach for vacation....also sometimes farther South all the way to Florida.
I was always depressed, devastated, and literally...sick to my stomach...I actually would throw up....when we had to go to restaurants where the bathrooms and doors  that had signs designating "Whites Only" or " Blacks( Negroes, in those days.)Only!

I found it sickening, and I was only 7 or 8 years old!
WHY do you NOT get rid of that Confederate flag at your statehouse? Don't  you know how painful it is for so many of our citizens? including myself? 
I live in California now, and it is a more " enlightened" state......

GET rid of your racist banner! PLEASE?
