I have been searching everywhere online for any type of answers for what the state does for our veterans children in regards to college education. I have read you give tuition assistance to VA members that are 100% disabled, but what about those that are 80,75 or even 50% disabled. Does the state not pro-rate education for those members families? Or is it all or nothing? My daughter was accepted early to USCB in the fall 2016, I'm just trying to get as much information about whats out there for assistance for her. We are trying to transfer my husbands GI bill but not having much luck in that department. I would greatly appreciate any info or help. I guess I should tell you my husband served his great country for about 22 1/2 years and is 80% disabled. I believe at his retirement ceremony they stated he did a total of 9 years deployed. I would hope the system would change and would pro-rate entitlement by percent disabled. I have printed out the forms for education assistance and will be faxing them, whether or not she qualifies. Again thank you for your time,Linda Kendziora
