Please reconsider the removal of the South Carolinas proud history &amp heritage which is being representatived by the displaying of the confederate battle flag. It Is NOT a symbol for many many southerners of white supremacy , but of a proud &amp proper history of America NOT starting in 1861 but 1776. Please be informed and read a book before you act on ignorant belief. I suggest Flags of the Confederacy .. By Devereaux Cannon If it is an attempt to appease the left you will be ignorant to believe so , They're already calling for removal of all Southern war heroes from any public place. It is NOT the representation of claimed racism but more to the very idea of states rights , state sovereignty and the original founding of our the United "States"  of a weak central goverment that they abore.  This flag represents that idea , this ideal &amp they will tear it down whenever they find it however they are able. If you believe as they do remove it , if you believe states rights fight like you will fight until your last son is buried. I was born in South Carolina but live live in Texas and it is my heritage you wish to remove.My wife and my mother-in-law were also born in the "great" state of South Carolina. JUST READ A BOOK
