I live in Anderson county. I pick up trash along roads weekly in my neighborbood and at the public boat ramp near where I live. I gather one or2 kitchen bags per week. As I drive my kids to school, or drive to work I pass roadsides covered in garbage. I am embarrassed when visitors come from other states. There are programs other states have to help cut the roadside litter. South Carolina is a beautiful state. I love living near Lake Hartwell, but the roadside litter is terrible and ruining the beauty everywhere. Then to see SC is ranked at the worst state .... something needs to be done !! If there are more ways I can help, let me know. But I am not making a dent with my weekly collections -- check out what other states do and PLEASE do something to put us as one of the best states ! Thank you. Carrie Stiles
