What do I need to do or what action do I need to take to push for an Open Carry Law &amp a No Permit Needed for a CWP License law? I will keep emailing and calling our reps. to push this.The 2nd Amendment does not mention having to have a CWP license to carry protection(firearms).Criminals do not follow this law and for the safety of South Carolina's residents it is very much needed.In my opinion the CWP and the law prohibiting open carry are not Constitutionally correct and are breaking the law.Will lawsuits get this started or help? We have been looking at places to retire to in Arizona.They are a gun owner friendly state and have the laws that are mentioned above.If you look at their graphs of the crime rate since their gun laws were put into effect you can see how those laws have decreased the amount of violent crimes.It is a win win situation for our state and for the law abiding people of South Carolina.
