I am a returning resident to SC. My family has been in the grand strand area since 1985. I have a concern with Hwy 17S and traffic safety in my area. I work for Home depot in Murrells Inlet and there is no deceleration lane in the S bound lane at the intersection of where Home depot is located. A real bad turn off to Home depot. I am a competent driver and well skilled, but the lack of a deceleration lane makes it hard for people to turn into the two stores(home depot and Mattress co). Home depot has been instrumental in helping the public in the area rebuild and maintain their property in the area of Murrells inlet and surrounding area. Especially days after Hurricane Mathew. I strongly feel the survey of and reconstruction of that section of road is neccessary. thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you by email.
