I have been a nurse since 1994, I am a pediatric nurse and I teach pediatrics. I my selfe over the years like most nurses have made a med error, we are not above this. It is what you do as a reaction to the error, there are standards in place to help prevent errors and there is the Nurse Practice Act that also includes this. No nurse wants to make errors, but we are human; I would encourage someone to look at kevin Bryant as a pharmacists and see if he ever made an error. None of us are above it, but to revoke a license is a horrible thing to do. I have caught many errors in doctors orders and the pharmacy so for him to suggest such a bill is rediculous. Please strike down this bill and support your nurses, thank you
