After the I-26 merge onto I-95, double the traffic over the the same two lanes, 4 into 2. Traffic is stop and go for 89 miles. It is dangerous. It is frustrating. It is a disservice to the public. It is embarrassment to your state. SC is the only state unwilling or unable to update sections of the I-95 corridor when needed. Why is that? Worse yet I see no evidence of starting any improvements. The longer improvements are delayed the worse it will be for everyone. Truckers must be furious. What is wrong in South Carolina that even with federal assistance it is unable to provide adequate Interstate Highway for this 89 mile stretch. As I was leaving your state I noticed the "Thank You for visiting South Carolina" sign. It should read "Thank You for suffering through South Carolina". Please initiate widening of this stretch of I-95 ASAP.
