I know you are concerned and have a deep sense of commitment to the people of South Carolina.  We live in a great state. I commend your leadership and the hard work you are doing for South Carolina.  

The possibility of refugees coming to South Carolina has been a top concern for me and most South Carolinians.  The tragic events in Paris have raised our concerns to a new level.  It's time to tell Washington "NO" to their plans of refugee resettlement.  Homeland Security acknowledges that there will be a percentage of terrorists who will come to American as refugees.  Their goal is to bring harm to the United States.  I cannot stress the danger I feel we are facing.  Even without the danger, I don't feel we can financially support the influx of people who come and receive benefits we can't afford to give away.  Where is America heading?  How can leaders give approval for such a programs.  

I trust you, Governor Haley.  I realize that your family came here to start a new life, as mine did over 200 years ago.  American has been blessed by welcoming immigrants who came honestly seeking a new life.  However, now we face great danger in allowing refugees to come.  Some things have to be done for the greater good of humanity.  Please work to close our borders and secure the way of life our country struggled to make possible.  Thank you.
