For example, because my husband and I went through the PACE program our undergrad loans were note eligible. We both love the Lowcountry and education but we also wanted a better life so we both went back to grad school to become administrators (unfortunately, that is sometimes the only way to make more money). Our pay still is not the best but once again we are not eligible for loan forgiveness. It is hard to stay in a low paying area when you get hit with obstacles every way you turn! Please look at the actual teachers and administrators who are in the trenches and listen to what we need.
