My wife is sitting at a road block and she's only 5 minutes from our house here in the Okatie area. She called to check on hwy 278 conditions before leaving our daughter's house in Augusta today. She was told it was open all the way to the Hilton Head bridge. When she got to the road block she was told all of Bluffton is locked down. The road block is way too far out. I understand there is severe flooding downtown Bluffton in the May River area but there are no major issues in the Okatie area other than maybe some power outages. Why couldn't they move that road block further in to where the areas are dangerous or at least just check ID's to decide who can go back? My wife works for WTOC in Savannah and needs to get back in. Any help would be appreciated. This is just making her think she should have roughed it out and my guess is this is the signal alot of the area residents here getting. Thanks, Scott, your fellow Republican
