<WFUD_Request>My name is Patricia Creech.  I have adopted a set of twins over a year ago and I am interested in trying to save a child from being placed in a group home. She goes to school with my girls and because I am not a licensed foster home they won't place her here with us. We know and love this child but didn't find out about her foster home giving her up until late yesterday.  I've been trying all day for region one to allow me to be her alternate care giver until I can get licensed but they tell me it is illegal for them to place her with me. 
Can you please give this child an immediate placement with me and my family? She is falling through the cracks in this system! She was so distraught today that I don't know if she will survive this move.  She's a special ed child and does not understand what has happened to her this week. I am trying to be her "Champion for Children" but I cannot do it without DSS allowing me to be! 
Governor Haley seems to believe in this but it looks like it will need to be her to order an emergency "stay of execution" for this child. For it feels like this child has been placed on death row today. We have dropped her into the abyss. I'm afraid she won't do well in a group home.

Now, what do you possibly need to know about me and my family that you don't already know? We jumped through all of your hoops for the adoption of our twins. We will jump through your hoops again. But in the meantime,  are we not trustworthy enough to take this child and keep her in her school for the remainder of the school year? All we are after here is for her to have no interruption in her school year and for us to have the chance to show her that she is loved and worthy.
