In it you stated that "Everybody that touches a victim or their family will have a representative around that table". Well, I did not see anyone listed to represent animal welfare on this board. It is a known fact that women will not leave a violent spouse or significant other if their children or animals are in danger of being hurt or killed as they are used as pawns in this type of situation. I have been a member of Redrover.org for many years whose case managers provide funding, resources and emotional support to pet owners in domestic violence situations. I would appreciate it if you would look into this organization to get some feedback on this matter and include an animal welfare representative to this board. If you would like some information on this organization, I will be very glad to obtain it for your task force. Thank you for your time and a reply will be appreciated and expected.
