As I know you would agree, the family members and friends of the shooting victims at Emanuel AME church deserve nothing less than our deepest sympathies and utmost respect. Their willingness to forgive the man who shot and killed their loved ones is unbelievably inspiring. In my opinion, the Charleston County Magistrate's remarks regarding sympathy for the shooter's family, and the manner in which these were expressed, were not appropriate and were totally insensitive to the victim's family's loss and resulting pain and suffering. I'm appealing to you to have this official issue a public apology to these families and to insure that this behavior is not repeated. Kindest regards, Jeannine Beerman
