Respectfully I write you to let you know that your response to the SOTU does not reflect my views and was a great disappointment to me.  I am a 64 year old retired, college educated white female and I have been a Republican all of my life.  I am not a racist and I know there are good and decent Muslims as there are people of any race.  I have no issue with people who legally immigrate to our country, desiring a better life and filled with hope.  I do not - again I do not - support illegal immigrants and immigrants who come to our country to harm us.  I do not support amnesty.  And, yes I do now find myself scrutinizing those who appear to be Muslim. You know what would make me feel better - hearing the Muslim population speak out and become actively involved with us to fight ISIL.  But I haven't seen it and I haven't heard it.  I have not seen or heard of steps that our government is or will be taking to correct the vetting process.  Lastly, your response should have been limited to addressing the SOTU.  Your comments about angry candidates had no place in the forum you were asked to address.  I am embarrassed for you and disappointed in you.  You are out of touch with what the common folk want. I can see why people are fed up with our elected officials.  That madam, is why I will be voting for someone who has no political background.
