Dear Ms. Haley,
My son is 35 years old and suffers from COPD, blood clots, and rheumatoid arthritis. He filed for disability was denied appealed and denied again. He spoke with 2 attorneys that would not take the case because of his age. He can not work !! He can't walk much due to the COPD, he can't sit for periods because of the blood clots (he is on a blood thinner for the rest of his life), he can't hold anything for much time as the rheumatoid arthritis is in his hands (he can not open his hands all the way). I myself am on a fixed income and trying to support myself and him is putting me in a hole I'll never get out of. PLEASE, where should we go from here? Refile with SS ? Try to find another attorney to take his case? Just sit back and let me lose everything to support us both? I am at my wits end and don't know what to do. PLEASE offer me any suggestions you might have.
