If you would review the requirements Illinois has to acquire a CCP, you will find that not only do we have to clear background checks for an initial Firearms Owners Identification Card (FOID), we also have to successfully complete a 16 hour CCP Course which includes shooting, like SC. We own property in SC, the address is 119 Olympus Lane, Conway, SC that we plan to build a home on when we retire in a couple of years. And we also plan to acquire our SC CWP once we complete the 8 hour course. But, in the mean time, I feel Illinois' CCP requirements are equally stringent as SC's and hope you will review and consider it. Thank you in advance.
