Sanford Won't be Calling Back Legislators
Governor Sanford announced Monday that he had "no plans" on calling the legislature into special session before its next session in January.

Before the past session ended, the legislature decided not to deal with Sanford's vetoes and did not vote to come back before the next session.

The Governor says calling legislators back into session would cost South Carolina taxpayers roughly $75,000 per day.
