I am writing too you to ask for help to put a stop to this app yik yak. You are suppose to be 17yrs old to get the app but middle school and high school kids have it. With this app the kids that write on here are anonymous,but the kids they write about are NOT! This site allows them to bully anyone without getting in trouble it starts rumors about kids that are not true and causes all kinds of problems.As a parent of a 16yr old daughter who has fallen victim to this she had become withdrawn depressed and had to be taken to the er for stomach pain and have test run.Come to find out it was all due to her nerves from all the rumors on yik yak. I have quit my job withdrew her from school and now home school her she is doing better she still has days but they are better.I contacted the yik yak company and told them what happened and the send me some links to block the app off my daughters phone needless to say she had already deleted the app. I am concerned for the other children out here how this is effected them some may not be so lucky to have a parent to catch on to see something is wrong and the commit suicide or a school shooting.This app is not just causing problems in south Carolina it every where. I just need help to know what to do.
