Thank the Governor for including some compassion and reasonableness in her speech following the POTUS address. In my work (engineering) I found that normally women were more interested in the relationships between issues than holding out on ideological stances. While I may not agree with you on each talking point, we will never reach a consensus on important issues without respecting the input from all sides and then reaching an informed consensus. I used to be a republican but now independent because I feel the republican party has lost sight of the bigger picture. As has been said "those without vision fail". We are one country and need our elected officials to represent everyone so we can be one nation. I have been part of the "white privilege" class but have seen how we have held back many of those not so privileged. To be a great Nation requires a large and clear heart. Again thank you for saying everyone is responsible for where we find ourselves, it is not productive to blame others.
