Nikki Haley and Staff Memebers, 
I am writing today in the concern of my safety and my children.  Starting in the late spring of 2015, my husband and I decided that divorce was the right direction for our family. I started in the summer collecting my incident reports that I have had to file against my husband. Since we are on the rental agreement together, police would repeating say that there would be nothing they could do to get him out of the house, to just continue to file reports?  In my reports against my husband, I have statements from him kicking in the back door, punching the walls, putting me in a neck hold, running me off the road, grabbing my sons shirt and lifting him on the ground and my husband grabbing me and pushing me into the fence, and hitting my mom with the car. I have called the police so much on the situation that has been going on, I can go into the police station or have them come to the house and "Oh, I know you!" On 10/18/2015 the police came out again, I filed my statement as well as my mom. However, I was the one that got arrested. The kids have been around most of the incidents that have been put on record. I have asked for help. I was even seeking a protection order based on the latest report I had (harassment). I am not sure why I am not being protected against this man. Police have come out, I have had to go to the ER, and yet. I am the one that is faced with CDV 2degree charges. Pictures have been taken of the broken door and some property. However, not all incidents reordered marks or damages. I have taken a cell phone to the station to show his violence and putting me in a situation where I could not call for help. On 10/18/2015 when the police responded the officer did not look for marks or even ask if I was hurt anywhere until I said something to him. My mother had a mark on her from trying to separate us, but it was not noted. Even though the officer taking our statements said he would note that. If was never put in. I actually have a bruise on my right arm that was from that night. Which would have been a red mark at the time of scene. I would like to request an investigation against the North Augusta police department. On the terms of not handling the situation as it should have been handled. I have 9 north Augusta statements and 6 actual reports that are against my husband. I have become fearful to be in my own home and the situation is causing concern for my 6 year old, since his behavior has started to change.
