Thank you for the great job you are doing for our state. I appreciate your efforts to get our state in better shape than it has been in a long time. I have heard that SCDOT throws away good inventory every year, then buys new items so their budget will not be decreased. It seems if that money could be saved, it could go towards repairs on our roads and highways. I'm sure my view of things is much more simple than it would be if I had your knowledge of the whole picture, but it bothered me so to hear of such waste. Thank you  for you time. Cynthia Blanchard
