Two weeks before I applied my daughter had surgery and then we lost our insurance due to company layoffs, she has not been able to have a follow up appointment from the surgery and she has been having issues since. I need to take her to see her Dr but without insurance I cant get an appointment. I think over 70 days is more than enough time for someone to review her application, I dont care if she gets medicaid or if I can put her on my insurance but I cant put her on my policy until she gets denied from medicaid, I have even called and asked them to just reject her application so I can get her on my policy but I cant get anyone to do anything at all, most of the time they dont even answer the phone or the wait time is over 90 minutes. Please help me with this, before my child gets more sick, she has missed school multiple times because of her health and I feel helpless because I cant even bring her to see a Dr. because the people that look over applications are just to busy. I understand that people are busy but when my childs health and well being are being compromised due to lack of concern, this is a huge issue, especially when I know of more than two familys that should not even be in this country and they have there whole family on Medicaid and food stamps. I have been paying taxes since I started my first job at 14 and I am not looking for a hand out, all I want is to be able to take care of my child and the state of SC is making that impossible, What Do I Need To Do? 74.126.141.115
