COLUMBIA, S.C. - The state Transportation
Commission has unanimously approved an agreement with North Carolina
on connection points for Interstates 73 and 74.
There was little discussion when the resolution was approved at a
meeting here Thursday.
The agreement requires North Carolina to build a 3.7-mile
connection to Interstate 73 near South Carolina state Highway
38.
South Carolina will build about a five-mile link to Interstate 74
from the Carolina Bays Parkway in Horry County.
North Carolina's DOT board is to take up the resolution March
3.
