We recently mailed you letters and a "Hate Won't Win" pledge poster signed by the students.  Will you and your staff accept the "Hate Won't Win" challenge @ https://www.facebook.com/Hate-Wont-Win-DFMS-1505934303038163/timeline/ ?  The Junior Beta Club students are working so hard to fight prejudice and prevent bullying. Encouragement from you would mean so much to the children. Next Monday, Alana Simmons will be visiting our students to thank them personally for their work and personal commitment to the cause. As you know, Rev. Daniel Lee Simmons Sr.(Alana's grandfather) died as a result of the Charleston Nine attack. Our school is joining with the national movement started by Rev. Simmon's grandchildren. In February, we will be hosting two special evening events to promote the "Hate Won't Win" movement.  We were hoping that you might be able to attend either February 18th or 25th.
