It was voted that mid December 2017 all companies with trucks newer than 1999 operating outside a 100 mile radius will be required to use ELD devices. To many companies, this is a huge expense that we feel needs to result of compensation through the state forced action. It would be great if the state would set up a rebate or tax break incentive to these businesses to offer some sort of relief. The idea of growing a state is keeping companies in business and not allowing state decisions render them bankrupt. What can we do to enact a rebate or tax credit for the businesses effected?
