There seems to be no enforcement of current law and/or regulations. In a email letter to Janet Baumberger (Baumbergerj@llr.sc.gov): This is Brian Leiter in Spartanburg, SC (former City Police Officer). I have talked to you before about my concerns in this matter a few years ago. I am still noticing a LOT of people in Spartanburg/Greer that are practicing small businesses as Carpenters/Handyman/etc. that are either NOT LICENSED/REGISTERED or their license has lapsed for years. Is there anything that I can do to help the State Collect the required fees for these licenses to be renewed as required by law? I see a lot of posts too on Craigslist.Com. Some of these people I personally know and they say they don't renew because the State has not sent them renewal notices in Years. One is a Painter whom has been painting Interior for over 30 years with No License and he uses City Firefighters to assist in Painting. All Jobs are well over the $200 limit. I would like to talk more in person because typing is hard for me and I have a lot to say. Regards, Brian Leiter, Concerned Tax Payer Cc: Governor Niiki R. Haley 68.187.193.101
